Valdosta, Georgia: Memorial Day 5K Run

Stephen and Jacob ran in the Valdosta, Georgia Memorial Day 5K Run today. Stephen finished 11th overall and 1st in his age group. Jacob finished 1st in his age group in the 5k, then 15 minutes after finishing the 5k he decided he wanted to run in the 1 mile run. Jacob finished 1st overall in the mile with a time of 7:15. Stephen and Jacob had to compete in the 5k against a number of Valdosta State University's Cross Country runners. The top overall male and female winners were VSU runners. I thought they both did pretty well. Stephen threw up after the race and blamed it on the three sodas he had this weekend. He's probably right. Check out some of the pictures:

Cairo, Georgia: Missionette 5K 2010

Jacob ran in the 4th Annual Missionette 5K in Cairo, Georgia today. He finished 17th out of 56. The winner was Kyle Harris and Brian Corbin was second. Check out these pictures of the race:
