Stephen and Mary Alice Smoot Win Valdosta "Jogging for James" 5K

Stephen won the Jogging for James 5K in Valdosta, Georgia with a time of 17:55. Second place was the Masked Avenger (18:11) and third was Todd Smoot (18:13). Valwood rising sophomore phenom Mary Alice Smoot won the Overall Women's Race in a time of 21:55.

Stephen's time today is second only to the 17:42 he ran in the Bainbridge Memorial Night Race a few weeks ago and 33 seconds faster than he ran the exact same course on Memorial Day. Also, check out Herb Wills' article on the race.
